What is a NAPPI code?
A NAPPI code (National Pharmaceutical Product Interface) is a unique coding system (identifier) for medicines, surgical or consumable products, and medical procedures which allows you as the consumer to claim a rebate/refund from your medical aid.

Ensure Receipt Details are Correct
Make sure your receipt includes both the practice number and the NAPPI code for the product you’ve purchased.
Submit Your Receipt to Your Medical Aid
Email a photo or scanned copy of your receipt to your medical aid within 3 months of purchase to apply for reimbursement.
Contact Your Medical Aid for Clarification
If you’re unsure whether your medical aid will reimburse the product or have questions about the process, reach out directly to your medical aid provider for assistance.
